guys, share lang din po kayo ng mga TIPS, with regards to the thread topic. TIA!

Scuffs and scratches on the surface of a helmet visor reduce visibility. Reduced visibility inhibits your ability to see objects or people around you as you operate a motorcycle. Using the wrong methods to remove the scratches will weaken the strength of the visor. To remove scratches and keep the integrity of the visor, use methods that were used to form the visor when it was manufactured.

Things You'll Need

1,500-grit sandpaper

Running water

Heat gun

1.Remove the visor from the helmet.

2.Hold the visor under running water. Sand deeper scratches lightly with 1,500-grit sandpaper. Run a thumbnail over the visor. Continue sanding until your thumb nail does not catch on any scratches.

3.Wipe excess water from the visor with a rag. Allow the wiped visor to sit in a dry location for two hours to remove any remaining traces of dampness.

4.Plug in a heat gun. Turn the heat dial to 550-degrees Fahrenheit. Allow the heat gun to reach operating temperature.

5.Turn on a lamp. Hold the visor 2 to 3 feet from the lamp.

6.Hold the heat gun 4 inches away from the scratched side of the visor. Move the heat gun constantly across the face of the visor to remove remaining scuffs and scratches from the surface. Do not hold the heat gun in one place for an extended time.

7.Allow the visor to cool for 45 minutes before installing it on the helmet.
